The Tarot Club

Duke Evert

Founder and CEO of ClouTech · AI automation and systems architecture

At this table, we don’t discuss what you can find in a search engine. Here we design systems that take routine off a business: voice and text agents, CRM integrations, data collection, web platforms. I lead every project myself — from the first conversation to production.

Arcanum 0 · The Fool

The Fool begins the journey — and sees it through to the end

Founder and CEO of ClouTech. In Tarot, the Fool is the card without a number: he stands at the start of the journey and passes through all the arcana. My work is the same: I break down the process, design the architecture, build, launch and support it — with no handoffs.

Strengths — unconventional architectural solutions where off-the-shelf ones don’t fit, and flexibility: I adapt the system to the client’s tools and processes, not the other way around. I’ve worked in automation since 2025 and founded ClouTech in 2026.

Main niche — veterinary clinics: an ultrasound reporting system for Animal Health West.

Six rules that are not up for discussion

IProduction, not a demo

Every system has a version log, a stable rollback point and automated tests on real examples.

III hear about a failure first

Outage alerts reach me on Telegram before the client notices the problem.

IIII count the client’s money

Cost tracking for every model call and fallback models — AI shouldn’t eat up the savings.

IVPrivacy by default

Keys — in a secure vault, not in code. Client data is isolated. If needed — a fully local deployment.

VSeparate environments

Development and tests — on a separate staging environment. Only what’s been tested reaches production.

VIOne person — like a team

I work in tandem with AI coding agents (Claude Code), so I cover the workload of a small team.

Arsenal

Tools of the trade

I use what fits the task and the client’s tools, not what’s fashionable.

EducationUniversity — dropped out

I learn on real projects and in production.

Outside work50 km of running a week

It’s about discipline — the same discipline that keeps systems running in production.
